What is Smarainbox?
Smarainbox is an accountant-first client receipt inbox for collecting client receipts, reviewing unclear records, marking clean records Ready, and exporting workspace-scoped accountant packs before bookkeeping.
Who is Smarainbox for?
Smarainbox is for accountants and bookkeepers who manage receipt collection and review for small-business clients, including sole traders, freelancers, Etsy sellers, and similar client businesses.
Is Smarainbox accounting software?
No. Smarainbox is a receipt collection, review, and export-preparation layer before bookkeeping. It does not replace accounting software or bookkeeping judgment.
How do accountants collect receipts from clients?
Accountants create a client workspace, share its workspace-bound Telegram upload route, and can also upload receipts from the authenticated web app into the selected workspace.
What is a client workspace?
A client workspace represents one client business. Its uploads, Needs Review records, Ready records, upload-channel state, and exports stay scoped to that business.
How does Telegram receipt upload work?
The accountant shares a workspace-bound Telegram upload route. The client sends receipt photos or supported documents in Telegram, and Smarainbox stores them in the bound client workspace for accountant review.
Do clients need dashboard access?
No. In the accountant-first MVP flow, clients can use Telegram upload-only access without dashboard, export, billing, analytics, member, or workspace settings access.
What does Needs Review mean?
Needs Review means the receipt record has missing, uncertain, or low-confidence information that should be checked by the accountant before the record can be treated as clean.
What does Ready mean?
Ready means the accountant has checked the receipt record enough for it to enter the selected workspace's accountant-pack export scope.
What is an accountant pack?
An accountant pack is a workspace-scoped export of reviewed client receipt records from one selected client workspace, prepared after clean records have been marked Ready.
Can original receipt files be included?
Original receipt files can be included only when accountant-pack original-file export is enabled and the stored source files are available. Otherwise, the pack focuses on reviewed receipt records.
Are final paid plans published yet?
No. Final public paid tiers, exact prices, and package limits are not published yet while the accountant-first beta workflow is still being tested.

Does Smarainbox post to Xero or QuickBooks?

No. Smarainbox does not handle tax filing, bank feeds, ledger posting, or automated bookkeeping. It prepares reviewed receipt records before those separate workflows.
